I don’t so much think that the church should accept evolution as suppose to be offended or thrown-off by it. And I think that although science and religion never really mixed well, that, in this new era, the two almost compliment each other in a way?
I don’t know, I’m not an expert. But I just find it odd I suppose.
The only thing these two compliment eachother in is debate. Science and religion do not mix well at all, because if you mix science with religion, you’re compromising that religion’s holy texts or you’re compromising scientific fact.
And of course the church should be offended by it! It goes against their religious text! Look at the Westboro Baptist Church, they are the GREATEST example of what a TRUE Christian is. Granted I hate what they stand for, I respect them in the fact that they actually believe everything the bible says.
